With the victory, Red River advances its record to 16-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Mansfield (Mansfield, LA) to meet the Wolverines in a 2A District 3 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Wolverines enter the battle with a record of 13-16. Mansfield won 70-31 in their recent league battle against Lakeside (Sibley, LA)
The Farmers now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jonesboro-Hodge for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. Union Parish will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 47-44 non-league win over Saline (Saline, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-13.
