Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Homer Pelicans (Homer, LA), 44-41 in a league match.

With the victory, Union Parish advances its record to 12-13 on the year. The Farmers host Carroll (Monroe, LA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 20-16. Carroll lost 68-61 in their recent league match against Bastrop (Bastrop, LA)

The Pelicans now own a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arcadia for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. Homer will face a Hornets squad coming off a 69-50 league win over Jonesboro-Hodge (Jonesboro, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 14-5.
