Louisiana High School Basketball - Homer sneaks past North Caddo
January 17, 2025: Homer, LA 71040 The Homer Pelicans (Homer, LA) basketball edged the visiting North Caddo Titans (Vivian, LA), 55-49 in Friday's league bout.
The Pelicans now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Magnolia School of Excellence for a 2A District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Homer will play a team coming off a 74-70 league loss to D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA). The record now stands at 4-13.
With the loss, North Caddo falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Titans host Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA) to play the Cavaliers in a 2A District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 21-4. Calvary Baptist Academy won 57-55 in their recent non-league bout against Wossman (Monroe, LA)
