January 18, 2025: South Beloit, IL 61080 The South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Stillman Valley Cardinals (Stillman Valley, IL), 45-26 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Sobos now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Scales Mound for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. South Beloit will play a Hornets team coming off a 65-45 league win over West Carroll (Savanna, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 8-9.
With the loss, Stillman Valley falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Marengo (Marengo, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-15. Marengo lost 68-45 in their recent league bout against Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL)
