Illinois High School Basketball - South Beloit knocks off North Boone
February 19, 2025: Poplar Grove, IL 61065 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting South Beloit Sobos basketball team scored a good 56-40 win over the North Boone Vikings.
The Sobos (25-5) will now prepare for their contest against Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 20-10 record. In their last contest, Yorkville Christian defeated DePue (DePue, IL), 115-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 24. North Boone will attempt to better on its 12-18 season record. The Cogs come into the contest with a 14-17 record after their 66-50 non-league loss to Sycamore (Sycamore, IL).
