With the victory, Academy of Our Lady advances its record to 5-13 on the year. The Penguins host Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA) to meet the Cardinals in a 4A District 9 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 8-8. Belle Chasse lost 41-25 in their recent non-league battle against Wright (New Orleans, LA)
The Cougars now own a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Carmel for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. St. Mary's Academy will meet a Cubs squad coming off a 43-31 non-league win over South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Cubs record now stands at 13-5.
