The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cambridge Trojans (Cambridge, NE) and the host Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE), observed Cambridge's basketball team edge Maxwell by a score of 46-39.

The Trojans (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE). The Broncos come into the D1 District 10 challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Wauneta-Palisade was tipped by Garden County (Oshkosh, NE), 35-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Brady Eagles (Brady, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Maxwell will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 51-39 non-league win over South Loup (Arnold, NE).
