California High School Basketball - Grossmont overwhelms Central

January 18, 2025: El Cajon, CA 92021

The Grossmont Foothillers basketball team scored 80 points and limited the visiting Central Spartans to 35 in the Foothillers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Foothillers now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they host Granite Hills for a Grossmont - Hills game on Tuesday, January 21. Grossmont will play a Eagles team coming off a 65-34 non-league win over Vista (Vista, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Central falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Calexico (Calexico, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a Imperial Valley game on Tuesday, January 21. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 6-12. Calexico lost 37-30 in their recent non-league game against University City (San Diego, CA)
