The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) and the visiting Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), observed Grossmont's basketball team knock off Helix by a score of 53-33.

The Foothillers (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (El Centro, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 9-8 record. In their last challenge, Central was knocked off by Imperial (Imperial, CA), 62-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders encounter the El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) in a Grossmont - Hills challenge, on Friday, January 17. Helix will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record.
