The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE) and the host Mead Raiders (Mead, NE), observed Howells-Dodge's basketball team overwhelm Mead by a score of 64-15.

The Jaguars (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bancroft-Rosalie (Bancroft, NE). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Bancroft-Rosalie trounced Wakefield (Wakefield, NE), 57-15, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the East Butler Tigers (Brainard, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Mead will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record.
