January 18, 2025: Deming, WA 98244 The Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) basketball crushed the host Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), 47-19 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Seahawks now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Lynden Christian for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 22. Anacortes will play a Lyncs team coming off a 59-23 non-league win over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Lyncs record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Mt. Baker falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Nooksack Valley won 37-25 in their recent non-league bout against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)
