Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA) and the visiting St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA), saw St. Bernard's basketball squad hold off St. Anthony by a tally of 50-48.

With the victory, St. Bernard improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA) to confront the Knights in a Del Rey challenge on Friday, January 21. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 12-1. Bishop Montgomery won 68-59 in their recent league challenge against Serra (Gardena, CA)
