Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV), 57-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Frye upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Cadets host Waterford (Waterford, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 22. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Waterford won 48-10 in their recent league bout against Belpre (Belpre, OH)

Next up, the Patriots play the Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 21. Parkersburg South will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 69-32 league loss to Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV).
