The Palmyra Cougars basketball team scored 29 points and restricted the host Red Land Patriots to 14 in the Cougars league victory on Wednesday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elizabethtown for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 22. Palmyra will battle a Bears team coming off a 54-39 non-league win over J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA). The Bears record now stands at 3-7.

The Patriots (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA). The Wildcats come into the Mid-Penn - Keystone contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Mechanicsburg prevailed over Hershey (Hershey, PA), 34-30, in a league contest.
