Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA), 5-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the Cleveland Cavaliers (Reseda, CA) in a West Valley challenge, on Friday, January 21. Birmingham will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA).
