The Northwest Vikings basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders to 41 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to York for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Northwest will meet a Dukes team coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to North Platte (North Platte, NE). The Dukes record now stands at 9-4.
