The Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 29 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Crusaders now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hershey for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4.

The Minutemen (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Aurora (Aurora, NE). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Aurora was routed by Waverly (Waverly, NE), 30-29, in a non-league contest.
