In Thursday's non-league outing, the Luther Cougars (Maspeth, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Kew Forest Jaguars (Forest Hills, NY), by a count of 70-31.

The Cougars (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Portledge (Locust Valley, NY). The Panthers go into the PSAL Area NYSAIS PSAA - Eastern outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Portledge was crushed by Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, NY), 99-41, in a non-league outing.
