Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Maplesville Red Devils (Maplesville, AL) and the visiting Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL), saw Maplesville's basketball squad hold off Thorsby by a tally of 36-31.

With the victory, Maplesville improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Billingsley (Billingsley, AL) to confront the Bears in a 1A Area 7 challenge on Friday, January 20.
