Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Abington Heights crushes West Scranton
January 19, 2023: Scranton, PA 18504 Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA), 49-15 in a league bout.
With the victory, Abington Heights upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Honesdale (Honesdale, PA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Honesdale won 45-38 in their recent non-league bout against Valley View (Archbald, PA)
Next up, the Invaders play the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. West Scranton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 59-26 non-league win over Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA).
