The Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY) basketball nipped the host Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY), 49-47 in Thursday's league test.

The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Starpoint (Lockport, NY). The Spartans go into the Section 6 Erie County II test with a 7-4 record.
