Illinois High School Basketball - St. Thomas More crushes Calvary Christian Academy
January 19, 2023: Champaign, IL 61822 St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Calvary Christian Academy Knights (Normal, IL), 58-12 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Thomas More upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Sabers host Watseka (Watseka, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 18-2. Watseka won 49-20 in their recent non-league bout against Momence (Momence, IL)
Next up, the Knights play the Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders (Arthur, IL) in a East Central Illinois bout, on Monday, January 23. Calvary Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Conquering Riders come into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 42-40 league win over Urbana University (Urbana, IL).
