January 10, 2023: Arthur, IL 61911 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders (Arthur, IL), by a count of 52-24.
The Sabers (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Saints go into the Illini Prairie outing with a 13-6 record. In their last outing, Bloomington Central Catholic smashed Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL), 58-30, in a league outing.
The Conquering Riders now hold a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Cornerstone Christian for a East Central Illinois outing on Thursday, January 12.
