The St. Thomas More Sabers basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Rantoul Eagles to 35 in the Sabers league triumph on Thursday.

The Sabers now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. St. Thomas More will meet a Warriors team coming off a 42-20 league win over Auburn (Auburn, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 17-7.

The Eagles (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Riverton (Riverton, IL). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 4-18 record. In their last contest, Riverton was routed by Williamsville (Williamsville, IL), 34-27, in a league contest.
