The St. Thomas More Sabers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Pontiac Indians to 38 in the Sabers league triumph on Monday.

The Sabers now sport a 23-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tri-Valley for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 8. St. Thomas More will meet a Vikings team coming off a 72-62 non-league loss to Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 17-10.

The Indians (10-16) will now prepare for their contest against Streator (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 4-26 record. In their last contest, Streator was routed by Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL), 35-18, in a league contest.
