The Pontiac Indians basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Rantoul Eagles to 32 in the Indians league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Thomas More for a Illini Prairie contest on Monday, February 6. Pontiac will meet a Sabers team coming off a 58-33 league win over Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Sabers record now stands at 22-5.

The Eagles (3-16) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Saints enter the Illini Prairie contest with a 19-10 record. In their last contest, Bloomington Central Catholic triumphed over Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL), 48-37, in a non-league contest.
