The St. Thomas More Sabers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers to 42 in the Sabers league triumph on Monday.

The Sabers now sport a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monticello for a Illini Prairie contest on Thursday, February 2. St. Thomas More will battle a Sages team coming off a 41-31 league loss to Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Sages record now stands at 7-19.

The Panthers (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 22-5 record. In their last contest, Cissna Park ran past Fisher (Fisher, IL), 47-27, in a non-league contest.
