Maryland High School Basketball - Elkton holds off Edgewood
January 19, 2023: Edgewood, MD 21040 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Elkton Golden Elks (Elkton, MD) and the host Edgewood Rams (Edgewood, MD), saw Elkton's basketball squad hold off Edgewood by a tally of 48-43.
With the victory, Elkton improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Golden Elks travel to Oxford (Oxford, PA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 8-5.
Next up, the Rams confront the Fallston Cougars (Fallston, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 23. Edgewood will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 46-37 non-league loss to Century (Sykesville, MD).
