Maryland High School Basketball - Aberdeen holds off Edgewood
January 9, 2023: Edgewood, MD 21040 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Aberdeen Eagles (Aberdeen, MD) and the host Edgewood Rams (Edgewood, MD), saw Aberdeen's basketball squad hold off Edgewood by a tally of 38-33.
With the victory, Aberdeen improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Century (Sykesville, MD) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Century won 36-32 in their recent league challenge against Westminster (Westminster, MD)
Next up, the Rams confront the Havre de Grace Warriors (Havre de Grace, MD) in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Edgewood will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 52-42 league win over North East (North East, MD).
