The Forest Wildcats (Ocala, FL) basketball felled the visiting Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL), 56-45 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Plant (Tampa, FL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 18-4 record. In their last test, Plant was beaten by Palm Bay (Melbourne, FL), 65-49, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Leesburg for a 5A District 5 test on Friday, January 20. Vanguard will encounter a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 33-32 non-league loss to South Sumter (Bushnell, FL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-21.
