The Meadow Bridge Wildcats basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Independence Patriots to 42 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount View for a Coalfield A contest on Monday, January 23.

The Patriots (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record.
