California High School Basketball - San Mateo routs Oceana
January 19, 2023: San Mateo, CA 94401 In Thursday's non-league outing, the San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Oceana Sharks (Pacifica, CA), by a margin of 45-14.
The Bearcats (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Burlingame (Burlingame, CA). The Panthers go into the Peninsula - South outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Burlingame was trounced by Capuchino (San Bruno, CA), 46-35, in a league outing.
The Sharks now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Jefferson for a Peninsula - North outing on Tuesday, January 24. Oceana will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 50-43 league win over Westmoor (Daly City, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-7.
