New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque Academy holds off Highland
January 19, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87108 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), saw Albuquerque Academy's basketball squad hold off Highland by a tally of 28-23.
With the victory, Albuquerque Academy improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 3-5.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Highland will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
