New Mexico High School Basketball - Cleveland crushes Highland
January 9, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87108 Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), 52-13 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cleveland upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Storm travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-1. La Cueva won 43-14 in their recent non-league bout against Highland (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Hornets clash with the Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Highland will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 36-28 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).
