New Mexico High School Basketball - Highland overwhelmed by La Cueva
January 5, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87108 The La Cueva Bears basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Highland Hornets to 14 in the Bears non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bears now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleveland for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10.
The Hornets (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Storm come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Cleveland triumphed over Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 38-37, in a non-league contest.
