The Mustangs now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manzano for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 20. West Mesa will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 28-17 non-league loss to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 0-5.
The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, La Cueva prevailed over Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 40-21, in a non-league battle.
