January 19, 2024: Big Sandy, MT 59520 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Big Sandy Pioneers (Big Sandy, MT) and the visiting Cascade Badgers (Cascade, MT), saw Big Sandy's basketball squad hold off Cascade by a tally of 65-63.
With the victory, Big Sandy improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Turner (Turner, MT) to play the Tornadoes in a C District 9 challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Turner lost 46-39 in their recent league challenge against Chester-Joplin-Inverness (Chester, MT)
Next up, the Badgers play the North Toole County Refiners (Sunburst, MT) in a C District 10 challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Cascade will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Refiners come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 60-14 league loss to Dutton-Brady (Dutton, MT).
