Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain Pointe knocked off by Campo Verde
January 19, 2024: Phoenix, AZ 85044 The Campo Verde Coyotes basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Mountain Pointe Pride to 60 in the Coyotes league triumph on Friday.
The Coyotes now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Casteel for a 5A San Tan contest on Monday, January 22. Campo Verde will battle a Colts team coming off a 71-45 league loss to Higley (Gilbert, AZ). The Colts record now stands at 16-4.
The Pride (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Coyotes enter the non-league contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, Combs ran past Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ), 54-50, in a league contest.
