Iowa High School Basketball - Nashua-Plainfield can't hold off Central Springs
January 19, 2024: Manly, IA 50456 The Central Springs Panthers basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Nashua-Plainfield Huskies to 73 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Fork for a Freelance contest on Tuesday, January 23. Central Springs will battle a Warhawks team coming off a 64-57 league win over Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 10-3.
The Huskies (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Clarksville (Clarksville, IA). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Clarksville was nudged by Waterloo Christian (Waterloo, IA), 87-48, in a non-league contest.
