California High School Basketball - Hoover ripped by Crescenta Valley
January 19, 2024: Glendale, CA 91202 The Crescenta Valley Falcons basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Hoover Tornados to 42 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakwood for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Crescenta Valley will battle a Owls team coming off a 85-52 league win over Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Owls record now stands at 11-13.
The Tornados (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Muir (Pasadena, CA). The Mustangs enter the Pacific contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Muir was routed by Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA), 47-34, in a non-league contest.
