California High School Basketball - Frontier nips Liberty

January 19, 2024: Bakersfield, CA 93312

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Frontier Titans (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA), saw Frontier's basketball squad hold off Liberty by a count of 53-52.

With the victory, Frontier upgrades its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Titans host Centennial (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Golden Hawks in a South Yosemite - River challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Centennial lost 51-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Maranatha (Pasadena, CA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Bakersfield Drillers (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Drillers come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 68-57 league loss to Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA).
