California High School Basketball - Serra tops Valley Christian
January 19, 2024: San Jose, CA 95111 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA) and the host Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA), saw Serra's basketball squad knock off Valley Christian by a tally of 70-55.
With the victory, Serra improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Padres host St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to play the Wildcats in a West Catholic challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. St. Ignatius College Preparatory lost 57-44 in their recent league challenge against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) in a West Catholic challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Valley Christian will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 64-54 league loss to Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA).
