Minnesota High School Basketball - Maple Grove holds off Osseo
January 19, 2024: Maple Grove, MN 55369 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN) and the visiting Osseo Orioles (Osseo, MN), saw Maple Grove's basketball squad hold off Osseo by a tally of 59-58.
With the victory, Maple Grove improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Crimson travel to Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN) to confront the Pirates in a AAAA Section 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 16-1. Park Center won 83-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Eau Claire Memorial (Eau Claire, WI)
Next up, the Orioles confront the Totino-Grace Eagles (Fridley, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Osseo will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 98-66 non-league win over Onalaska (Onalaska, WI).
