Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) and the host Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC), saw Leadership Academy's basketball squad wallop Millennium by a tally of 67-12.

With the victory, Leadership Academy improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Cardinals in a 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Cornerstone Charter won 52-49 in their recent league challenge against Bethany (Summerfield, NC)

Next up, the Lions confront the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Millennium will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Villains come into the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 68-52 non-league win over Burlington Christian Academy (Burlington, NC).
