North Carolina High School Basketball - Piedmont Classical over College Prep & Leadership Academy

January 19, 2024: Jamestown, NC

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) and the host College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC), saw Piedmont Classical's basketball squad overcome College Prep & Leadership Academy by a tally of 66-54.

With the victory, Piedmont Classical improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Bethany (Summerfield, NC) to confront the Wolves in a 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 1-19. Bethany lost 52-49 in their recent league challenge against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Royals confront the Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals (Greensboro, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. College Prep & Leadership Academy will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 69-42 league loss to Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC).
