Ohio High School Basketball - Thurgood Marshall overwhelmed by Ponitz Career Tech
January 19, 2024: Dayton, OH 43160 The Ponitz Career Tech Golden Panthers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Thurgood Marshall Cougars to 39 in the Golden Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Golden Panthers now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Hills for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Ponitz Career Tech will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 70-65 league win over Withrow (Cincinnati, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-2.
The Cougars (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Middletown Christian (Franklin, OH). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Middletown Christian was routed by Dixie (New Lebanon, OH), 76-55, in a non-league contest.
