January 19, 2024: Lake City, IA 50450 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) and the visiting Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA), saw South Central Calhoun's basketball squad wallop Sioux Central by a tally of 50-25.
With the victory, South Central Calhoun improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Titans travel to West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. West Bend-Mallard lost 61-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA)
Next up, the Rebels confront the Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) in a Twin Lakes challenge, on Monday, January 22. Sioux Central will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 63-57 league win over East Sac County (Lake View, IA).
