California High School Basketball - Maxwell holds off Biggs
January 19, 2024: Maxwell, CA 95955 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA) and the visiting Biggs Wolverines (Biggs, CA), saw Maxwell's basketball squad hold off Biggs by a tally of 36-30.
With the victory, Maxwell improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a Mid-Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Los Molinos lost 56-21 in their recent league challenge against Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Williams Yellowjackets (Williams, CA) in a Mid-Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Biggs will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 50-16 league loss to CORE Butte (Chico, CA).
