North Carolina High School Basketball - Calvary Christian nips Wilson Christian Academy
January 19, 2024: King, NC 27021 Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wilson Christian Academy Chargers (Wilson, NC), 40-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Cougar host Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Woodland Baptist Christian won 51-33 in their recent non-league bout against Gospel Light Christian (Walkertown, NC)
Next up, the Chargers play the Hilltop Christian Chargers (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a NCCSA AA East Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Wilson Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record.
