The Clymer Central Pirates basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Silver Creek Black Knights to 26 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cassadaga Valley for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24. Clymer Central will battle a Cougars team coming off a 49-45 non-league loss to Westfield (Westfield, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.

The Black Knights (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Westfield (Westfield, NY). The Wolverines enter the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - West II contest with a 9-4 record.
